Nurhayati Abdul Rahim (b. 1993) is a young Singaporean Malay Muslim Artist. She sees herself as a constant work-in-progress and her artistic practice evolves with time.

Nurhayati’s practice draws on her surroundings- of being her in an academically inclined multi-cultural multi-religious society. Her works are explorations of her identity and her past present and future roles in society. Whilst she deals with expressions and experiences in the public sphere, she acknowledges Islam as a prominent influence in her life. She believes in the need to be god conscious (Taqwa) which inevitably affects her approach to life. It puts a more introspective lens knowing that everyone and everything is inter-related in a divine unity. Her works are usually process-based and her aim changes as it evolves.

Nurhayati completed her Bachelors in Arts (Fine Arts) with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in LASALLE College of the Arts. Before which, she studied in Pioneer Junior College as a Science Major, minoring in Art.
